Stitched in Blue: My Portuguese Tile Journey
Inspired by the timeless beauty of Portuguese blue and white tiles, my series "Stitched In Blue: My Portuguese Tile Journey" is my way of stitching a month long vacation in Portugal into a lasting and handmade throw blanket for my bed.
This collection is my way of holding onto that feeling. Each granny square is inspired by the patterns and emotion of the tiles I saw — reimagined in yarn, one stitch at a time. As I crochet this afghan, I’m reliving the journey — and sharing it here with you.
