My name is Heather.
I currently live in the Great White North
Ontario, Canada, with my husband, two
daughters, and our two little fur babies.
I discovered my passion for crocheting in November 2017 after I quit smoking. I needed something to keep my hands busy so I wouldn’t turn to food as a distraction.
To nurture this newfound interest, I dove into YouTube tutorials, asked endless questions of the talented women in my family (my mom and aunties), and practiced on anyone willing to let me.
That’s when the crocheting bug officially bit me!

Spoiler Alert:
I'm A Nerd!
Thanks to the support and encouragement of friends and family, word has spread about my self-taught talent, and I’ve started gaining recognition for my work.
Now here I am, excited to share my passion with you! The possibilities with yarn are endless, and I’m having so much fun exploring what I can create.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I hope you find something inspiring on my site!

I truly hope you can find something that brings you

In a short time, I started my website, joined crocheting circles that create and donate handmade items to hospitals and shelters and fell in love with every minute of this journey.
Every creation fills me with pride, not just because of its beauty but because of what it represents.
I also realized that working on crochet projects became an outlet for improving my mental health.
The focus and creativity help me manage daily struggles with self-negativity, anxiety, and panic attacks, giving me a sense of peace and accomplishment.
